• -I make no claim to be a scholar, teacher or kumu. I am simply answering the request of so many from over the past ten or so years, to share my thoughts and views. Which are just that, thoughts, views/ opinions really! When I make a statement that is factual (one which can be referenced in the work of accepted scholars) I will do so. When I make a statement that is to me "as good as fact" however can not be substantiated be any records, documents or living resource, then I will note that with the use of an acronym in italic. When I make a comment or statement which I hold to be true, yet is in actuality mere opinion on my part, then I will note that with an acronym also. More on this in on the next page, "footnotes and acronyms".
